OUR NAME

Choosing a name for the label was no easy task — and not wanting it to be eponymous made it even more difficult.
 

I was aiming for something that would reflect my dedication to the French couture tradition — something that embodied refinement, elegance, and grace.

Madison, my Beagle, entered my life as a puppy a year after I moved to New York City in 2008. She quickly revealed herself to be the most enchanting and charismatic companion. I often say she was like Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty — blessed with beauty and "the gift of song." In many ways, she was the Audrey Hepburn of dogs, with her sweet demeanor and doe-like eyes.

Madison would warmly greet my clients, delighting everyone she met and bringing smiles to their faces. It felt only natural that the label be named MAISON MADISON — a tribute to the joy and grace she so effortlessly shared.

After 16 great years of friendship and love, Madison left us on April 5, 2025. Even so, through each creation, I hope to continue delighting you and bringing a smile to your face — by crafting the dress of your dreams.
